Beautiful handmade Mexican Amate paper. This paper is entirely made by hand in Mexico using amate bark, a technique from Pre-Hispanic times used extensively during the Aztec empire. It was used traditionally for rituals and has now been adapted into beautiful new designs and intricate cutouts. Papers can be used by artists or displayed as a stunning stand alone piece of art that can be framed and enjoyed for its intricate beauty as well as a focal point for any room.
